Christmas 2009

So Christmas was an off day. We got released from the hospital on Christmas eve in the evening. When Christmas rolled around the next morning I was very tired, and recovering from my c-section and the newness of being a mom!! Tom was very patient and I know dying to open presents but it was much later in the day. Tom loves Christmas and grew up opening presents on Christmas eve so waiting was rather painful!! In the end we opened presents but the day was quit a blur for me. I wish I had more pictures to offer but I was refusing to be in any that day, and not really thinking clearly!!. I was not looking my best :) While Christmas was off we did get a great gift...our baby boy :)

Welcome Baby Sawyer!!

Baby Sawyer finally decided to join our family and we couldn't be happier. I ended up having to have a C-section which I was not too happy about at the time, but everything went very well and the final result was a healthy beautiful baby boy. Tom was great and a wonderful support. Sawyer weighed 7lbs. 14oz. and was 19in. long with a full head of hair!! The hair was a big surprise...I always thought I would have bald babies. He may even end up being a red head...time will tell.

Beginning a Family and a Blog website!

At this point in our lives we are about to start a family, and due to Tom being in the military we are going to be away from friends and relatives for a long time.
Therefore we have decided to begin our own Blog for us and everybody else to keep track of what's going on in this little Risner family's life!

Let us all hope that boredom or lack of exciting events in our lives doesn't keep us from blogging continuity!
