Lemons

While I was in Virginia I went to dinner at Siverado with some of my family. While we were eating..I don't remember why we gave Sawyer a lemon but his reaction was not what we expected. He loved it and cried when we took it away. I had to give him another one. So much for the sour face :) Here are some pictures of him enjoying his lemon!!

Eight months

Sawyer is now Eight months and full of new tricks. He is oficially full out crawling. He is a busy boy and loves anything that is not a toy!! Especially computer cords which mommy and daddy LOVE keeping away from him!! We are in the process of baby proofing the house but have not done the best job. He is also in the process of theething. His two bottom teeth have come in and he is working on the top four. His left front tooth has broken through and the other three are partially through. He has handled it pretty well but is no longer sleeping through the night which makes mommy very tired. Over all he continues to be such a good boy and full of smiles!!

Myrtle Beach

Sawyer and I went to Myrtle Beach for my family reunion. Tom had an assignment for work so he was unable to come (wish he could have come). Sawyer and I only made it to the beach one day over the whole week!! Sawyer, who has never been sick decided to get and ear infection!! He did not have the best week plus he was teething. All things considered I actually think he did pretty well. We went to the beach on one of the last days. He actually did really well and was not afraid of the water or the sand. I am looking forward to trying the beach again next year and Sawyer hopefully being healthy :) Her are some pictures from the beach. The last picture is of me and four of my sisters. As you can see I am a ghost. I am typically whiter then all of them anyway, but this year I glowed next to them...I guess that is what happens when you don't go in the the sun :)

He tried the sand but decided he didn't like it so he didn't eat it so I was happy about that.

Little Yellow ball

Just thought I would post some pictures of Sawyer enjoying his little yellow ball. For some reason he loves this little ball.

Seven months!!

Sawyer is Officially seven months today!! He continues to do new things everyday. He broke his first tooth this week. Taking pictures of him is not as easy anymore. He reaches and grabs at everything!!! Right now he is just sitting up and scooting backwards. I am not looking forward to him crawling!! I imagine he will be into everything. Anyway below are picture of the process of the seven month sign eventually getting eaten by him. I tried to distract him with a ball but eventually I lost the battle!!

Boating In Utah

We took a week off and went to Utah. While we were there we went boating. This was Sawyer's first experience on a boat and he did GREAT. He didn't love getting in the cold water past his toes but he loved the wind in his face. Here are some pictures from the day :)

SIX MONTHS

Sawyer is officially six months...there were too many pictures to choose from so sorry about the number of pictures.

Happy 30th Tom!!!!

Tom has officially exited his twenties and entered his thirties!! We celebrated his birthday over two days by going to the movies to see Toy Story 3 (loved it) and lunch at Wingers, then the next day we saw The Last Air Bender (total let down!!) and had dinner at Red Robin. I made Tom a cookies and cream cake and got cookies and cream ice cream to go with it (It was very Yummy). It was fun to get out and go to the movies and celebrate Tom's birthday!!

Tom just got back from his deployment and we could not be happier. I am so grateful to have him back home. He was so excited to see how much Sawyer had changed...and very surprised how big he had gotten!!! Here are some pictures from the day :)
